"You can finally stop playing with yourself!"

GTA: Vice City Stories features a multiplayer mode very similar to that of its platform predecessor, GTA: Liberty City Stories. The mode supports Ad-Hoc (Wi-Fi connection) only, so no online play is possible.
You can enter multiplayer mode at any time through the start menu options (START button), in 'multiplayer'. Some of the multiplayer games include special power-ups, enabling radar visibility, mega damage, health boost, frenzy, instant repair, and sticky tires.
Vice City Survivor

One of the five returning multiplayer games from Liberty City Stories. Vice City Survivor is the standard 'deathmatch' game, to be either played all-against-all style or in teams.
Street Rage

This mode features Midnight Club-style races on the streets of Vice City, with the obvious win objective of completing the course in lead position.
Protection Racket

Team up with some of your buddies to either defend your turf or attack a rival gangs turf. If you're defending, you have to prevent your four vehicles from being destroyed by the gang. If you're attacking, you have to destroy your rivals' four vehicles to win. Both within a given time limit.
Taken for a Ride

Steal the oppositions car and drive it back to your turf. The team with the highest number of stolen cars by the end of the time limit, wins.
Tanks for the Memories

A rhino tank is placed somewhere in the city. All players must race to it and stay inside without dying for as long as possible. Simple enough, right? Wrong, each player has a bundle of heavy weapons in their inventory ready to blow the tank up. When the tank is destroyed the player who applied the most damage, is the next to take control.
