Try and waste the Cholos as they come into view. When the guys are finished they will leave you to see that the van gets back to Umberto's, in one piece. Spray a few of the nearby Cholos with your Uzi before entering the van. This will clear the path a bit for your getaway - which must be fast. Steer the van as sharply as you can and head back to Umberto's, ignore the Cholos that will shoot at it on the way out. The Cholos have not given up and will come after you in cars. They can employ heavy damage to the van if you let them too close. Take a shortcut through the flood control banks and back out into the streets of Little Havana. Stop in the pink marker outside of Umberto's house. Umberto will leave you for now on a touching note, "I love you man! Like a son, or a dog..."

LANCE VANCE MISSION SET:
'The Audition'
Lance is expecting a phone call from a contact who goes by the name Forbes, Brian Forbes. You have a time limit, which is almost impossible to exceed, in which you must drive to the pink marker outside King Knuts burger bar. When you hit the marker a cutscene will initiate, Lance will take the call inside and talk about merchandise being hidden in the car's side panels, no drugs are apparently involved. Suddenly the bar gets raided with masked burglars - great timing, boys! The cutscene will end here and you have to exit the shop. Don't mess around with killing the robbers, just zig-zag sprint for the exit marker and they won't inflict much (if any) damage on you. A second cutscene will now play as you leave the shop. The police have surrounded the building, and typically think Vic and Lance are the robbers. When this cutscene ends you will have a two star wanted level, and must get to Forbes' car near the Port Authority building in a certain time limit. Jack the VCPD Cruiser on the end, let Lance in the car and speed off following the pink blip on your radar. Keep at a high speed all the way to the destination to avoid any trouble from the police. Lance will shoot out of his window if a police Cruiser comes in range. When you get to the Port Authority building you must go in the back way, which means using a motorbike. A Sanchez is parked right next to the staircase hop on it and ride up the staircase. The car is in the impound on the other side. You have to jump from one roof to another to get there, completing a Unique Stunt Jump (USJ) as you do so. Take a run up from stairs and throttle towards the ramp pushing the analog stick forward to shift weight and go faster. Slam your brakes on to avoid falling off, and take the stairway to the left down to the impound. Equip an SMG as you run down the stairs, there is a load of men you will have to wash-out to get to the car. Use L1 and the analog stick to lean around walls and spot where the men are, also use your radar as they will show as red blips. Take cover behind the trailers and pick the men off one by one. Zig-zag sprint when you need to dodge bullets, and use the pistol to take out a group, as you can run whilst shooting with it. There will be three guarding Forbes' car - kill them before the the time limit is reached or his car will be destroyed. Get in the car and drive it out of the impound via the ramp. Another three or so men will appear, ignore them and jump the fence, starting your run up against the wall. A cutscene will show Lance send you out of the car, suspiciously.

Another of the many VCNN reports about the mission you have just complete, will play on the radio at this point and Lance's mission set is ended for now. A pager message from Lance tells you drop by Forbes' place - around the back of a building in downtown. Follow the F blip on the radar to begin this set.
BRIAN FORBES MISSION SET:
'Money for nothing'
...Well, not nothing. You have to be a decoy, by making the police think you're carrying the merchandise, whilst Lance and Forbes take the real merchandise. Basically, you are diverting the heat - three stars of it. First you have to get to the decoy van, so when the cutscene ends jog over and jack the sentinel in the car park and take Lance and Forbes to the blue blip. Get in the van here and take it to the warehouse (follow the pink blip on the radar). Here is where the swap between the real van and the decoy van will be made. The police watch over during the cutscene. The decoy van is sprayed to match the colour of the real van.
